Dr. Jacob Tazzi
Dr. Jacob Tazzi is licensed Chiropractor serving the Albion, Concord, Homer, Jackson, Marshall, Olivet, Parma, and Springport areas.
Dr. Tazzi grew up in New Baltimore, MI. After graduating from Anchor Bay High School, he went on to complete his Bachelors of Science degree from Gannon University in Erie, PA while achieving All-American Honors in wrestling.
Dr. Tazzi gained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA where he continued his high achieving standards in academics graduating Salutatorian with Summa Cum Laude honors. During his time at Palmer, Dr. Tazzi traveled to Hyderabad, India where he and fellow colleagues provided chiropractic care to underprivileged individuals.
It was also at Palmer where he was directed to Dr. Kirk A Lee as an excellent mentor for Chiropractic. After meeting Dr. Lee, he was given the opportunity to come to Albion to work while completing his final clinical hours for Palmer. His time in Albion has truly been a life-changing experience. Despite his unexpected and sudden loss of a great mentor and friend, the Albion community has welcomed Dr. Tazzi with open arms and he has formed a bond with Albion. He and his wife, Dr. Kathryn, intend on calling this unique and caring small-town home for many years to come.
Dr. Megan Hotrum
Dr. Megan Hotrum graduated with a doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. She is a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician in the state of Michigan. Dr. Megan Hotrum was raised in Battle Creek where she graduated from Lakeview High School. She was first introduced to chiropractic due to a sports injury during her junior year of high school. After many types of medical and physical therapies she found relief from chronic mid back pain by seeking out chiropractic care. After becoming pain free, she was able to concentrate and perform better in school and enjoyed a more active lifestyle. She moved to Kalamazoo and received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Western Michigan University. Throughout Dr. Megan’s life experiences and schooling she developed a great desire to focus on holistic and alternative health care methods. During her undergraduate program she began researching chiropractic colleges and set out to start the program at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She invested countless hours in learning chiropractic techniques that would enable her to address many neuromuscular conditions that can stem from vertebral misalignment. Dr. Megan knows that the chiropractic philosophy entails promoting the whole person through mental, physical, and emotional health. She has dedicated her career goals to coaching patients through their continued growth in all of these aspects of wellness and to improve their quality of life. She is excited to provide chiropractic care to the Albion and surrounding communities.
Dr. Adam Leibinger
Dr. Adam Leibinger was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan and graduated from Heritage High School. He went on to earn his Bachelors of Science degree from Saginaw Valley State University, where he graduated with honors. He also helped lead the SVSU hockey team to a national championship, achieving All-American recognition.
Throughout his life Dr. Adam has been heavily involved in youth athletic development with active roles in coaching, clinics, and camps. It was his ambition to assist others that led him to a career in health care. He continued his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he acquired and implemented the skills necessary to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. While at Palmer he was employed as a Clinical Marketing Assistant, composing radiology articles for field doctors and Palmer alumni.
Dr. Adam is excited to be serving the surrounding communities!
Dr. Daniele Johnson is from Lansing, Michigan and graduated from J.W. Sexton High School. She then attended the University of Michigan—Ann Arbor and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Movement Science. She also studied pre-med at the University of Michigan with the intent to apply to medical school. During Dr. Daniele’s sophomore year of college she was accepted into the Global Intercultural Experience for Undergraduates program and selected the Ghana, Africa site where she volunteered in the hospitals throughout the country. While volunteering in this program she was introduced to other health professions interested in a holistic approach with a focus on healing the whole body, not just masking the symptoms. At that point she researched chiropractic and decided to apply to National University of Health Sciences, where she later earned her doctorate of chiropractic degree. Dr. Daniele loves the chiropractic philosophy because it entails holistic treatment to neuromusculoskeletal disorders, which promotes overall wellness and improves the quality of life for the patient. She is excited to be serving Albion and surrounding communities.
Dr. George was raised in Sterling Heights, MI and graduated from Utica High School. After high school, he attended the University of Michigan earning a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Following graduation, he spent 5 years working at a physical therapy clinic in the metro Detroit area. During his time there he gained an appreciation and value for the holistic and non-pharmaceutical approach of healthcare. He was introduced to the chiropractic profession through a friend from the physical therapy clinic. Looking for a conservative method to the healthcare field, he found a love for the chiropractic profession and decided to make it into a career. His friend at work introduced him to a student at Palmer College of Chiropractic and the rest is history. Dr. George is a recent graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport. He earned honors in his academics receiving multiple scholarships and graduating Magna Cum Laude. While at Palmer, Joshan served with Campus Guides, Palmer Mentors, and was a tutor for Spinal Anatomy. Being involved with these organizations on campus helped increase his knowledge and passion for the profession. He understands the important role our nervous system has on the body and the impact the spine has on its function. He is excited to take all the knowledge he has gained from his time at Palmer and help bring health and healing to the Albion area!
